Nyesom Wike: Fubara cannot win any election in the state if he remains in PDP–Solomon Lenu

A human rights activist named Solomon Lenu has reportedly told the Vanguard that he does not think Governor Fubara will be able to lead the PDP to victory in the upcoming October Local Government (LG) elections in Rivers state.

He brought attention to the PDP state chairman's devotion to Minister Wike by mentioning that he had missed a recent RSIEC-organized stakeholders meeting.

He went on to say that the party might not even issue voting tickets to the candidates the governor wants to be elected.

In light of these considerations, he strongly suggested that the governor explore other avenues if he wanted to maintain his political career.

"If he stays in the PDP to run the LG election in October, he (Fubara) would lose every election in the state," he declared. The PDP state chair is a devoted follower of Minister Nyesom Wike. Let us not forget that he flat-out declined to attend last Monday's RSIEC stakeholders meeting. The party might not distribute the tickets to the candidates nominated by the governor, which is my biggest concern. In light of this, the governor should seek other means of preserving his political career.
