Alhaji Buba Galadima, the Secretary of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), addressed the issue of a resignation by the party's North-West zonal women leader due to alleged exclusion from appointments made by the Kano State governor.

Galadima emphasized that not every politician who works for a party will receive an appointment, citing his own position as an example. He highlighted that despite the significant votes received by Governor Abba Yusuf, not all supporters can expect appointments in return.

Galadima also mentioned his close relationship with the resigned women leader, Aisha Ahmed Kaita, and his knowledge of her character. He pointed out that his focus remains on assessing whether the governor fulfills his promises to the people rather than individual appointments.

As per The Sun, He said, "Not every politician who worked for a party would get an appointment. I am the secretary of the Board of Trustees, which appointment did I get in Kano? Over one million people voted for Governor Abba Yusuf and as of today, he is in the forefront of giving democratic dividends to citizens of Kano.

Let me tell you that I am closer to the woman leader than any politician either in Kano or the whole country. If she comes to Abuja, it is in my house where she stays and Aisha Ahmed Kaita was my wife’s teacher at the College of Legal and Islamic Studies in Maiduguri. So, if there is anybody who can see her positive or negative side, it should be me."
