The fomer Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Kingsley Moghalu has reacted after seeing the performance of Southeast governors on the Capital Importation list.
In the report that was shared by StatiSense and titled, "Capital Importation By Zone Since Q1 2017", the Southeast region has $1.55 billion.

Reacting to the report, Kingsley Moghalu said the Southeastern governors have not demonstrated the collective will and commitment that is required for the region to progress on the security and economic front. He said will the governors current meeting with former President, Olusegun Obasanjo and some stakeholders in the region change the tide.
Here is what Kingsley Moghalu wrote on his official page;
"Despite the commendable performance of some individual Governors on the region, Southeastern Nigeria Governors have so far not demonstrated the collective will and commitment to the region that is required for its progress on the security and economic front. Will their ongoing meeting convened by the elder statesman Chief Emeka Anyaoku, ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, and Ohaneze President-General Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu change the tide?".
