Goodhead Asari Dokubo, a leader in the Kalabari kingdom, has reacted to comments made by Nyesom Wike, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) minister. Wike recently responded to criticism from FCT Senator, Ireti Kingibe about his performance by challenging her to "hug a transformer" if she was not satisfied with his work.
In a video Dokubo shared on his Facebook page, he expressed his disappointment with Wike's response. He emphasized that Senator Kingibe is an elected official, chosen by the people, whereas Wike is an appointed official, not elected by the public. He criticized Wike for disrespecting an elected representative in such a manner.
In Dokubo's words: "That an elected official, a serving Senator should go and hug a transformer. She is an elected official elected by the people, he is an unelected official and he said she should go and hug a transformer. Some of us don't have anything but as an Amachree, as an Asari and as a Goodhead I hold my name dear to me. Wike has been made a king Kong by those in Abuja, they have overpriced him. He himself has believed in those things which he knows are not true"
