Founder of Ovation Magazine, Dele Momodu has stated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has overtaken former President, Muhammadu Buhari in all negative indices in just one year.
He made the statement on his official X handle on Saturday. He said it is sad that leadership in Nigeria keeps moving from bad to worse. Dele Momodu said politics in Nigeria is always about personal achievements and not about national assignments or accomplishments.
Here is what Dele Momodu wrote on his official page;
"In just one year, Tinubu has overtaken President Muhammadu Buhari in all negative indices. This is the sad story of leadership in Nigeria. We keep moving from bad to worse. Politics often attract those who just wish to be in power for vanity purposes. It is usually about personal achievements and not about national assignments, or accomplishments. Since we know the backgrounds of some of those leading us today, we can readily paint a picture of the lack of rigours in the seat of power".
