Former Premier League defender Ryan Bertrand has named Chelsea legend Eden Hazard as the toughest opponent he faced during his career. Bertrand, who played for Chelsea and Southampton in the Premier League, praised Hazard's exceptional skills and abilities, particularly his low center of gravity, which made him a nightmare to defend against.

In an interview with talkSPORT, Bertrand said, “I’d probably say Hazard. Playing against Hazard was probably a tough one because of his low centre of gravity.” Bertrand played against Hazard nine times in the Premier League and also had the opportunity to play alongside him at Chelsea, winning the Champions League together in 2012.

Hazard is widely regarded as one of Chelsea's greatest players in the Premier League era, known for his electric dribbling skills, vision, and goal-scoring ability. During his time at Chelsea, he won two Premier League titles, the Europa League, and numerous individual awards.

Bertrand's praise for Hazard is a testament to the Belgian's exceptional talent and his ability to make a lasting impact on the game. Despite facing many talented players during his career, Bertrand ranks Hazard as the toughest opponent he ever faced, highlighting the Chelsea icon's unique skills and abilities.
