According to Metro, Pep Guardiola has cautioned his team against expecting any leniency from Everton on the dramatic final day of the Premier League season.

Manchester City are poised to secure an unprecedented fourth consecutive title if they defeat West Ham on Sunday and render Arsenal's result against Everton inconsequential.

However, Arsenal must secure victory against Sean Dyche’s side and hope for an unexpected stumble from a relentless City squad that has shown no weaknesses during the final stretch of the season.

Guardiola is bracing himself for a formidable challenge against West Ham, especially considering it will be David Moyes' final match in charge.

To achieve historical success, Guardiola emphasizes that his players must take matters into their own hands and not rely on Everton to disrupt Arsenal's chances.

He stated at his pre-match press conference, "If you think Everton are going to do something [against Arsenal] tomorrow, forget about it... They [Man City’s players] know it’s win or win, otherwise Arsenal will be Premier League Champions."

Anticipating the clash with West Ham, Guardiola remarked, "We would like to be 3-0 up after 10 minutes but that’s not going to happen... I’m ready for it to be a tough, tough game."

He continued, "Our people have to come here and be ready from the first minute, to be with us and do it together... Even if we don’t win it, [the players] have been so fine in this period. Still we are here together, nothing’s going to change."

Reflecting on City's position, Guardiola affirmed, "But if you ask all the Premier League teams at the beginning of the season what would be the better position in the last game of the season, we are in the best position.

That’s for sure. We have one game left, destiny’s in our hands."
