Manchester United have expressed interest in Bologna winger Dan Ndoye following his standout performances at Euro 2024, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

The Red Devils have recently been in discussions with Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee’s representatives and are hopeful of securing his transfer, despite competition from AC Milan.

Now, Di Marzio reports that United's interest has expanded to include Zirkzee’s teammate, Ndoye.

The Swiss winger made an impression by scoring the opening goal in Switzerland’s 1-1 draw against Germany at Euro 2024.

Following this performance, United reportedly made inquiries about Ndoye's potential transfer fee from Bologna. Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS, who are familiar with Ndoye from his time at Nice and Lausanne, are keen on exploring this option further.

Manchester United are looking for a cost-effective winger to bolster their squad.

While their main priorities this summer include acquiring a new centre-forward and centre-back, they are also in the market for a promising right-sided winger.

Ndoye could fit this role. Last season, he recorded three goals and five assists in 38 appearances, but his performances at the Euros have showed his potential.

Ndoye, 23, also had a goal disallowed against Scotland due to a marginal offside decision. Currently valued at £12 million by Transfermarkt, Bologna are expected to demand a higher fee given his recent displays.

Bologna’s unexpected qualification for the Champions League last season, finishing fifth in Serie A, has increased interest in their players.

Alongside Ndoye, other talents like Zirkzee, Jhon Lucumi, and Riccardo Calafiori have attracted attention from top clubs.

Despite this, Bologna is unlikely to part with Ndoye easily, especially after his impressive showing at Euro 2024.
