How A Staunch Muslim Man Became A Christian From Reading Our Tracts - Bishop Oyedepo Narrates
During the closing moments of the Covenant Hour of Prayer meeting, Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church, encouraged his congregation to be fervent as they go about sharing flyers and tracts to invite people to church. The man of God explained that the tracts carry the supernatural power of God to convert people.
He shared the testimony of a Muslim man who became a Christian after reading a gospel tract handed out during evangelism. According to him, as the man took the tract, a voice kept urging him to read it and attend the church until he gave his life to Christ.
"Something happened one day. Somebody slept in his house, and he's not born again," Bishop Oyedepo recounted. "He heard a voice saying, That tract they gave you—go and read it. He said he was a staunch Muslim."
"Something was burning in that tract," Bishop Oyedepo said, emphasizing how even a small piece of evangelistic literature can transform a life. He shared another instance of someone picking up a tract another person threw away, and how it also changed his life.
"Someone threw his own down—nonsense, I don't need it!—but another person picked it up and came here, and his life turned around," he said.
