In a groundbreaking move, the leaders of the South-south, Southwest, and Southeast regions of Nigeria have come together to form a powerful alliance, marking the beginning of a unified Southern Nigeria.

This historic partnership brings together influential figures from each region under the umbrella of Ohanaeze Ndigbo worldwide, with the shared goal of addressing common challenges and advocating for their communities.

At the forefront of this collaboration are Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo worldwide, and other prominent leaders from each region. Chief E.K Clark, Emmanuel Essien, Pa Ayo Adebanjo, and Chief Iwuanyanwu have joined forces to strengthen regional unity and champion the causes of their respective regions.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Chief Iwuanyanwu emphasized the importance of unity in overcoming obstacles and ensuring fairness for all Nigerian citizens. He highlighted the marginalization of the Igbo people and the need to address this issue through collaboration with Southern and Middle Belt leaders.

The alliance has recognized Chief E.K Clark and Pa Ayo Adebanjo as the most senior statesmen in the group, acknowledging their leadership experience and trustworthiness. This gesture underscores their pivotal role in guiding the newly formed union.

The coalition has also established a Southern and Middle Belt leaders' forum, with Dr. Pogu Bitrus representing the Middle Belt region. Chief Edwin Clark has been authorized to speak on behalf of both Southern and Middle Belt areas, ensuring that the concerns and aspirations of these regions are effectively communicated.

This landmark collaboration marks a significant shift in Nigeria's political landscape, as regional leaders put aside their differences to work towards a more inclusive and equitable society. With this alliance, Southern Nigeria is poised to become a powerful force in shaping the country's future.

As Chief Iwuanyanwu emphasized, "For the avoidance of doubt, South-south, Southwest, and Southeast have formed alliances. We have formed a union of Southern Nigeria, and our leaders are now united to collectively address shared challenges and work towards a more inclusive Nigeria."

This historic partnership sends a strong message that regional leaders are committed to working together to achieve common goals and ensure that every Nigerian has an equal stake in the country's future.
