A well known Nigerian human rights activist and the AAC presidential candidate during the 2023 Presidential Election, Mr Omoyele Sowore, has noted that when President Tinubu said it was his turn to rule, prior to the 2023 presidential election, some Yorubas mistakenly thought he (Tinubu) said it was Yoruba's turn to rule to Nigeria.

Speaking further, the AAC presidential candidate made it known that Nigeria is not there yet, stating that the same individuals who brought Nigeria to its knees are still in charge of the country. Mr. Sowore went on and urged Nigerians to do the needful, so as to rescue the country, irrespective of tribe or religion.

According to Sahara Reporters, Mr Omoyele Sowore made this disclosure in his speech at a recent event organised by his supporters in New York, United States of America.

Omoyele Sowore said: "It is all about business as usual because the man in charge now said it is his turn. He (Tinubu) did not say it is Yoruba’s turn but the Yorubas accidentally and mistakenly thought he was saying it is their turn."

While narrating about his experience when he was unlawfully detained by the Nigerian Government for several months, he stated it clearly that there is nothing new about detention, noting that he had been detained on several occasions.
