The story of my kinsman, Ugo Agballah, is the story of a failed chairman quarreling with himself- Osita Okechukwu
Osita Okechukwu, an APC foundation member, responded to Ugo Agballah, the state chairman of the party's Enugu State chapter, after he said that those party chieftains involved in anti-party actions would be expelled.
Agballah, according to Okechukwu, is a political outlaw who joined the PDP and, with the assistance of Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma, took over the APC.
Osita Okechukwu, as reported by The Sun News, claimed that "the story of my kinsman, Ugo Agballah, is the story of a failed chairman quarreling with himself."
"He came from the PDP, akin to a political bandit, and hijacked our great party with the assistance of Uzodimma, the governor of Imo."
"To fill his empty pocket, he drove all the stakeholders away and boasted he would quadruple the 56,000 we scored in the 2019 presidential election."
"Regrettably, he scored abysmally only 4,722. Instead of apologizing, I cited his CV flying around at the president-elect’s house and APC HQ."
Osita stated that this is the reason Agballah is spreading silly rumors about certain APC foundation members who sold the only Enugu land during his 2011 campaign for governor.
Then, ironically, he said that Agballah was in the PDP's comfort zone while the APC was building its infrastructure. He said Agballah was unaware of the APC's constitution, which only granted the ward the authority to expel or suspend members.
