Form in Football isn't permanent and same thing applies for two of the greatest football player in this era, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi after both of them set new record in international competition. Argentina played their last game in Copa America group stages earlier today and Lionel Messi didn't have the chance to score a goal in the group stages and this is the first time this has happened to him throughout his career.
Same as Cristiano Ronaldo who also failed to score any goal in the Euros for Portugal but only provided an assist for Bruno Fernandes. These two players aren't at the same level they used to be some years ago and it's so hard to not see them score goals for fun anymore.
What are your thoughts about this and do you agree that it's time for football fans to expect less from these two top players of the game.
