A concern among Kenyan youths has been raised ahead of planned protests after two different schedule of events were shared on social media.

The protestors who are largely youths from the Generation Z and millenials, who normally have their activities planned online especially on X (formerly known as twitter), have vowed to continue with their protests despite President William Ruto's withdrawal of the highly contested Finance bill 2024.

Two different plans have been shared so far raising questions of which one will be followed. Initially, they had planned to start their activities yesterday, Friday 28th June, with activities such as visiting the sick, who are victim of the protests and also mourning those who lost their lives.

The second one has activities lined up from monday, where raising of Kenyan flags everywhere is expected, to go all the way to 7th of July to mark the famous Saba saba where residents of Nairobi county and its environs will be required to meet at Kimathi street and march on to Nyayo house with countrywide vigil expected in other counties.

A social media user (@ShankiAustine) took to X expressing his confusion on which timetable to be followed. "Mumetuwekea time table mbili sasa tunafuata gani walai? Mimi i prefer the one on frame 2." He said while showing preference to the schedule that commenced yesterday.
