In a sermon titled "The Disease Called Bewitchment," Dr. Daniel Olukoya, General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries (MFM), recounted a striking story to illustrate the dangers of bewitchment.

He shared an incident involving a young boy who ran mad just before entering a foreign country, emphasizing the pervasive and insidious nature of this spiritual affliction.

During the Manna Water Service, Dr. Olukoya narrated the story:

"At an immigration post, a young boy was about to enter into a foreign country. At the border, he met the immigration officer who was asking him many questions and we could hear it. He looked at his passport and told him to confirm his name and date of birth. He said that he is Barack Obama. The immigration officer began to smile, claiming that it is not Barack Obama that's on his passport. The boy began to argue, and it was then the immigration officer realized that this boy, who boarded an airplane from his country, got down in another country, approached the immigration, and at the gate of entry into another country, the enemy had made him mad. He became insane at the gate of that country."

Dr. Olukoya explained that bewitchment is a form of spiritual sickness that can affect anyone, regardless of age, family background, academic qualifications, or skin color. "It has no respect for your age, family, degrees, whether your father is a pastor or a priest, or your skin color," he stated, underscoring the universal vulnerability to this malevolent force.

He emphasized the necessity of seeking healing through fervent prayer and faith in Jesus Christ. "Bewitchment is a spiritual sickness in its own right," Dr. Olukoya explained, urging the congregation to be vigilant and proactive in their spiritual lives.

"Seek healing from the Great Physician, Jesus Christ, by praying fervently against all forms of bewitchment."
