Former Nandi Hills member of parliament Alfred Keter on Saturday afternoon, left Bondo town residents shouting after he revealed how he warned Kenyans against trusting President William Ruto.

In a speech delivered in the heart of Bondo town on Saturday, Mr Keter said that he was taken for a joke when he told Kenyans that President William Ruto is a liar whose words cannot be taken seriously. Keter said that Ruto is their son and he understands him better.

"President William Ruto is our son and I warned him people about him. I told people that he is a great liar but failed to listen to me." Keter said

Keter said that people can now heed to his previous statements about President William Ruto, saying that the Kenya Kwanza government has failed to fulfill the promises they gave to the people, including the bottom up economic approach that promised heaven for downtrodden citizens.

"I hope you people can confirm that indeed he is a liar. He promised to adopt the bottom up approach and raise the standards of living for mama mboga and Boda people but he has failed to honour his promise." He added

Keter was accompanied to Bondo town by firebrand Embakasi East constituency member of parliament Babu Owino. The two leaders had attended the burial of Fred Omondi who was laid rest on Saturday, as his rural home in Sega, Ugenya constituency.

Further, Keter promised that he will work closely with Babu and traverse the entire country to campaign UDA ahead of 2027 general polls.

"I am going to work closely with Hon Babu Owino to ensure that we move to every part of this country and bring down the UDA party." He added

Fred Omondi's send off was attended by a number of notable figures who included, Azimio supremo Raila Odinga, Siaya county governor James Orengo, National Assembly minority leader James Opiyo Wandayi amongst other leaders from Siaya county Assembly.
