Lawrence Njuguna, a popular Mugithi singer known by his stage name DJ Fatxo, has spoken on the death of Jeff Mwathi, a year after he had been linked to his mysterious death.

While speaking in an interview at Obinna TV, the 28-year-old Kikuyu singer revealed that no one was charged since the prosecution saw no reason to file a case as no one was involved in the death of the late Jeff Mwathi.

However, this decision was contrary to the popular belief that the deceased were murdered.
DJ Fatxo further maintained that he was not at home at the time Jeff met his death and stated that he had mourned him the most, despite people talking a lot.
In addition, he said that he cherished Jeff as a good friend, pointing out that if he took someone home after a night out, it meant that he cared about the person.
The late Jeff Mwathi met his death on February 22, 2023, after falling off from the 12th floor of a building in Redwood Apartments in Kasarani, Nairobi County.
It was in the same apartment where DJ Fatxo was living and had hosted the deceased that particular night when he died.
