Former Nigerian Senator, playwright and human rights activist, Senator Shehu Sani has taken to social media to react after a Nigerian Senator, Olalere Oyewunmi admitted to buying votes during the last general election in Nigeria.
Reacting after the Federal lawmaker from Osun State, Olalere Oyewunmi admitted to buying of votes, Senator Shehu Sani tweeted: "There's nothing outrageous about Senator Oyewunmi's confession about vote buying. Everyone in this country knows about the commercialisation of Primaries and general elections. How can you be shocked by something you know?"
This reaction from Senator Shehu Sani to Senator Olalere Oyewunmi confession of vote buying during last general election, has attracted reactions from Nigerians and social media users, as some have said it is not new to anybody, while some have questioned Senator Shehu Sani if he bought his way to becoming a senator.
