Renowned gospel actor Mike Bamiloye recently took to his official Facebook page to share a story that underscores the significance of obedience to God’s commands.

In his post titled "Addicted to Obedience," Bamiloye shared a story of what happened after God instructed a man of God to pack, approach a prostitute and bargain with her.

According to Bamiloye, God directed this man to leave his home one evening and head towards a notorious area of the city known for its red-light activities. The instruction was specific: he was to approach a prostitute, engage in a conversation, and bring her to his house. The man obeyed without hesitation, demonstrating a profound commitment to divine guidance.

Upon reaching the designated area, he met a prostitute and bargained with her, just as he was instructed. He then took her to his home, where his wife, whom the prostitute mistook for a housemaid, served her food and drink. After ensuring the woman was comfortable, the man of God posed three critical questions:

1. "What is the purpose of your life on earth?"

2. "Do you have peace and joy in your heart at what you are doing?"

3. "Do you want to be happy and settled in life?"

These questions, coupled with the atmosphere of genuine care and concern, led the woman to a moment of profound reflection. Overwhelmed with guilt and the realization of a better path, she broke down in tears and found a new beginning in Jesus Christ.

Bamiloye emphasized that such acts of obedience are crucial for those who wish to be used mightily by God. He drew parallels to biblical figures like Hosea and Ezekiel, who performed extraordinary acts of obedience to fulfill God’s purposes. For anyone desiring to see God glorified in their lives, Bamiloye’s message was clear: they must become "addicted to obedience."

In his remarks, Bamiloye urged believers to fully submit to God’s plans and purposes, highlighting that true relevance and progress in ministry come from unwavering obedience to God’s voice.
