In a video shared on Symfoni TV, Chief Dan Nwanyanwu, the National Chairman of the Zenith Labour Party, voiced his opposition to the court's ruling concerning Governor Fubara's 2024 budget.

He criticized the court's suggestion that Fubara should involve former members of the State Assembly, who are no longer serving, in the appropriation process.

Nwanyanwu argued that this would be an unconstitutional move, adding that political parties—at least 12 in the region—are ready to pursue legal action against Governor Fubara if he follows through with the decision.

As stated by Dan Nwanyanwu, "What the court, with greatest respect, is asking Governor Fubara to do is to take the 2024 appropriation to members, former members of the State Assembly, who are no longer there. That is what the court, with greatest respect, wants to do. And that will never happen. We, political parties, not less than 12 political parties, are ready, waiting for Fubara to do that. We’ll take him to court because that will be an unconstitutional act."
