The Former Vice President of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, North West region, Mr Salihu Lukman, has noted that Nigerians will not support President Bola Tinubu or candidates on the platform of the APC in 2027 general elections.
According to Daily Post, Mr Salihu Lukman made this disclosure during an interview with Daily Sun, stating it clearly that Bola Tinubu's led government has disappointed Nigerians.
Mr Lukman said: "There is no way Nigerians can support Tinubu or candidates on the platform of APC in 2027."
Speaking about the recent elections, the former APC National Vice Chairman (North West), made it known that Nigerian have lost confidence in the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, attributing it to what he described as a failure of leadership to address critical issues and foster unity within the party.
Furthermore, he stated it clearly that unless there is a meaningful effort to rebuild public trust and also promote accountable leadership, the chances of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC in 2027 elections remain precarious.
In addition, the former APC chieftain also expressed concerns about the integrity of Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC during the 2023 elections, noting that INEC disappointed Nigerians.
