In a candid interview on Arise TV, the Chairman of Concerned Rivers State Elders Forum, Precious Elekima praises Governor Fubara, attributing his appointment to divine intervention.

He asserts that Fubara's rise to power has ushered in a more peaceful and stable era for Rivers State, in sharp contrast to Wike's tempestuous rule.

He portrays Fubara as a youthful, God-fearing, and even-tempered leader, representing a breath of fresh air for the state's inhabitants who were once gripped by fear and uncertainty under Wike's leadership.

He said, "Leave all these things behind, who are you? Because what happened was that he (Wike) has exposed himself. I will tell you that, I had known Fubara from young, his going about. And Fubara is governor. As far as I'm concerned, the greatest gift God gave to Rivers State is Fubara. Sometimes God can use the enemy. Everybody in Rivers State was living with their hearts pumping minute by minute. When Wike left, the kind of difference was like 95 percent difference. Fubara is a young man, God-fearing and soft-spoken man."
