Man Utd announce first summer deal

Manchester United has officially announced that Tom Heaton has agreed to a fresh one-year deal with the club. The 38-year-old goalkeeper, who rejoined his childhood team in 2021, serves as their third-choice goalie.

Despite not regularly featuring in the first team recently, Heaton boasts a career total of 380 senior club appearances. Additionally, he has earned three caps for the England national team, with his most recent international appearance dating back to 2017.


Chelsea to pay Nico Williams £17m per-year

Chelsea are said to be readying a contract proposal for Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams following his standout performances at Euro 2024. The 21-year-old has impressed greatly as a part of Spain's successful squad and holds a £49m release clause in his existing contract.

Sport reports indicate that Chelsea are prepared to offer Williams a salary of up to £17m annually in hopes of persuading him to join their ranks.

However, despite Chelsea's interest, Williams reportedly prefers a move to Barcelona and could opt to wait for an opportunity with them instead of considering Stamford Bridge's offer.


Xavi Simons agrees Bayern move

According to RMC Sport, Xavi Simons has reportedly reached an agreement to join Bayern Munich on loan. Personal terms have been finalized between the Dutch midfielder and the German club.

Paris Saint-Germain are still deliberating on their plans for Simons this summer, including the possibility of selling him. Therefore, PSG will need to authorize another loan move or provide him with opportunities in the first team.


Chelsea makes Jackson decision

Chelsea were recently rumored to be interested in Alexander Isak and were reportedly considering including Nicolas Jackson in a potential deal.

However, according to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea actually view Jackson as a crucial component of their future plans. They intend to retain him for the upcoming years and have no intention of selling him during this summer transfer window.


De Light keen on Man Utd move

According to reports from Sky in Germany, Matthijs de Ligt is eager to join Manchester United, amidst the club's interest in him. Manchester United have initiated initial discussions with Bayern Munich to discuss the terms of a possible transfer for the Dutch international.

The report states that Bayern Munich values De Ligt at €50 million (£42.4 million), with additional add-ons included. Erik ten Hag, who previously coached De Ligt at Ajax, is keen to include the 24-year-old defender in his squad at Old Trafford for the upcoming season.

Done Deals;

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has agreed to a five-year contract with Chelsea, with the possibility of extending for a sixth year, for a fee reported to be approximately £30 million.

Lyon has exercised their option to make Orel Mangala's transfer from Nottingham Forest permanent. Mangala has signed a contract that ties him to Lyon until June 2028.

Southampton has confirmed that manager Russell Martin has extended his contract with the club until 2027.
