A significant number of Young Kenyans have been showing up in the streets of towns demonstrating against the finance Bill. Despite president Ruto withdrawing the finance Bill, Gen Zs have come out to claim that they want Ruto to Step down from leadership.
On the same page president Ruto called upon the Gen Zs to choose some representatives who will represent them during the planned dialogue. They responded by asserting that everyone is fighting for his or her own rights, thus there is no need of choosing representatives.
Over the same Ruto is planning to engage with Gen Zs on X space, however Kiambu senator has urged President William Ruto not to engage Gen Z on X space.
