Sombre Mood engulfed family members and friends as body of a young man who was killed during Anti-finance bill protests was brought home for burial.
Brian Kasaine was in company of his fellow Gen Zs when they stormed the street to protest against the Finance Bill 2024. Little did he know that this was the end of him. He lost his life after being shot by a police officer who was in company of other officers trying to Disperse and stop the protestors from demonstrating.
The lifeless body of Brian was today released from mortuary for his burial ceremony. Ahead of his burial, youths including bodaboda riders, Students and businessmen marched with Brian's casket along the Hospital-town-Bomet road. They demanded justice from the government.
