President William Ruto is facing increasing challenges despite his recent engagement with youths on X, where he pledged to be truthful and promised to reshuffle the incomplete Cabinet Ministry. Despite these efforts, Gen Z has initiated a 14-day protest against his government.

Gen Z's have launched a series of protests in response to what they perceive as a disappointing in government's reaction to their needs. They have admitted that last protest had severe consequences with 41 deaths, 380 injuries resulting from gun shots, and some individuals left paralyzed.

They reiterates that families who lost their loved ones are devastated, thereby making a straightforward demand for improved governance and accountability Kenya Kwanza government. Many view the misuse of state resources to suppress and harm Kenyan citizens advocating for justice and transparency as a profound betrayal, with some going as far as suggesting it borders on treason.

In recent days, there has been a surge of scandals and distractions in the media, seemingly intended to fragment Gen Z's anger and undermine their unity. It is vital not to let these tactics confuse us; our strength lies in our unity. According to many, the primary antagonist in this struggle is William Ruto.

The statement further states that, the determination remains steadfast: President William Ruto must resign. Gen Z calls upon Members of Parliament to heed the voice of the people. They have set a clear deadline for action, demanding that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) be established within 2-3 weeks.

Every Tuesday, they encourage all Kenyans to demonstrate by occupying IEBC offices nationwide and the offices of MPs. Thursdays are designated as #RutoThursday, during which citizens are urged to occupy major roads until Ruto steps down.

It appears that President William Ruto's recent promises and engagements, including his speech during the state of the address and interactions with youths on X spaces, have not fully satisfied Kenyans.

Despite these efforts, there is ongoing dissatisfaction among various groups, particularly Gen Z, who continue to express grievances and advocate for more substantial changes in governance and accountability
