Tony Okocha, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, has detailed his reasons for calling for Governor Siminalayi Fubara's impeachment. In an interview with The Sun, Okocha cited Fubara's lack of vision and preparedness as primary reasons for his demand.

Okocha labeled Fubara as a "push-and-start" governor, criticizing his inability to deliver democratic benefits. He questioned the governor's preparedness and effectiveness, comparing him unfavorably to the newly appointed governor of Abia State, who, despite lacking substantial financial resources, has made significant strides.

Okocha stated that Fubara was ill-prepared and unable to deliver the dividends of democracy. He questioned how Fubara, with all his wealth and claims of increased internal revenue, could compare to the governor of Abia State, also a first-time governor, who operates without significant funds.

According to Okocha, Rivers State could comfortably give Abia State N10 billion every month. He criticized Fubara's claim of having been in government for only four months, questioning what happened during the other eight months and implying that Fubara's confession of being in government for only a short time was an admission of incompetence.

During an interview with The Sun, He remarked, ""I called for his impeachment because he is visionless. I refer to him as a push-and-start governor. He was ill-prepared, and he was not able to dish out the dividends of democracy."

"Can you compare him with the governor of Abia State, who is also a first-timer?"
