Police Kill Suspected Nine-Man Armed Gang In Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command killed a nine-man suspected armed gang during an operation around the Ajao, Okota, Isolo, and Ladipo areas. The Special Squad One Team recovered five AK-47 rifles and two SUV jeeps. Police authorities plan to release more details about the event.

FG Plans 3 CNG Stations, 100 Sites

NNPC Limited, led by CEO Mallam Mele Kyari, has initiated an irreversible push to make Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) accessible to Nigerians. At the commissioning of 12 CNG stations in Abuja and Lagos, Kyari announced plans to build three LNG stations in Ajaokuta. He highlighted the support from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in promoting domestic gas use for cleaner and more affordable energy. NNPC Retail plans to launch over 100 CNG sites within a year. This initiative aims to reduce fuel costs and emissions, contributing to Nigeria's energy security and economic growth.
