According to the report from the Vanguard, The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, and Senator Gabriel Suswan have attributed Nigeria's challenges to a lack of intentional leadership.

During the book launch, the Chief Launcher, Senator George Akume emphasized the qualities of good leadership that are currently lacking in African leadership. He listed patience, competence, humanness, and the ability to take strategic decisions as essential traits that need urgent attention to be addressed.

Representing the SGF, Special Assistant on Technical Matters, Babatunde Bolaji Bennett, called for a review of the English language as Nigeria's lingua franca, suggesting the adoption of a more unifying and acceptable official language for the country.

Addressing the ongoing communal crisis between the Jukun and Tiv tribes in Benue and Taraba, Akume noted that successive state administrations have made significant efforts to restore peace. He urged for a scientific approach to resolving the crisis, highlighting the impact of climate change on the availability of usable land.

He said, "The issues of climate change are fast narrowing the usable land in our country. Some of the tribal and intercommunal crises we are experiencing may result from the shrinking ecosystem, From the north advancing towards the middle belt, and from the south due to sea level rise, we are all converging in the middle belt, leading to conflicts over ownership."

Akume called on the government to consider this ecological dimension and conduct thorough studies to find scientific solutions.

He said, "The Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Environment, the National Climate Change Commission, and the Great Green Wall initiative need to collaborate, The government must examine communal clashes scientifically to find quick, effective solutions to stop our people from killing each other."

He added, "The issue of dwindling available land for use and grazing must be addressed scientifically and properly. We need to stop fighting and work together."
