OSPAC members were also detained for various crimes, including murder and attacking a police division. The arrests followed complaints about OSPAC's activities in Rivers State, particularly in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni LGA, where they allegedly abducted individuals and clashed with security forces. The police emphasize their commitment to upholding the law while engaging vigilante groups within legal boundaries.

Milan in Talks With Lukaku

Flood takes over residential areas in Ibeju-Lekki

Heavy rainfall led to severe flooding in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos State, submerging residential areas and major roads on July 3, 2024. Affected regions included Epe, Eredo, Bogije, Labora, Abijon, Sangotedo, and Awoyaya. Residents blamed blocked waterways due to indiscriminate waste disposal. Calls for local and state government interventions to clear drains and expedite road repairs were made. The flooding caused significant damage, rendering some homes uninhabitable.
