According to the report from the Vanguard, the Spokesperson of the Coalition of a group of House of Representatives members known as the G60 lawmakers, Hon. Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere questioned the lack of response from the Inspector General of Police (IGP) regarding the use of dynamite by pro-Wike supporters during a peaceful protest and called on the IGP to enforce law and order impartially.

He accused the IGP of showing favoritism towards FCT Minister Nyesom Wike by not taking action against those breaking the law in his support.

He urged the IGP to fulfill his responsibilities fairly and refrain from providing preferential treatment to pro-Wike supporters simply due to Wike's position as FCT Minister.

He said, "Why has the IGP not arrested those who carried dynamite during a peaceful protest against pro-Wike supporters? Why is the IGP showing support for the FCT minister (Wike) by not calling to order those breaking laws and order in the state because one man told them to? We are calling on the IGP to do the right thing and stop giving support to pro-Wike supporters because he is the FCT minister."
