Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya has spoken to the media about why they must focus on themselves and their remaining three games of the season to win the Premier League.
Raya played the whole game in the 3-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur in North London. Arsenal made a brilliant start to the game as they took the lead through an own goal from a Tottenham player. Tottenham had a disallowed goal then Bukayo Saka doubled the lead. Both teams missed several chances before Kai Havertz scored to extend the lead to 3-0 before halftime. Tottenham Hotspur came out stronger in the second half and they pulled one back as Cristian Romero scored following a mistake from Raya. Heung-min Son scored from the spot to make the final score 3-2.
It was a big win for Mikel Arteta's men yesterday and their performance shows that they are real contenders for the title.
However, as gathered from Arsenal Buzz on X, David Raya emphasized why they must focus on themselves to win the Premier League title when he said: "We cannot focus on other teams, because if you do that you lose your focus on yourself and you don’t start playing the same way. You have to focus on yourself and the team, on what you can control. If you focus on things that you cannot control, things are not going to go well.”
