Man Utd plan Osimhen deal

Manchester United are set to revisit their bid to sign Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen. Rumours of the Red Devils offering cash plus Rasmus Hojlund for the Nigerian first emerged earlier in the summer but are once again gathering pace. According to La Repubblica, new terms are about to be put to the Italian club as they look to sell the former Lille striker. Osimhen's £109m release clause is proving too steep for Manchester United. However, they're not the only one interested in the player. PSG and Arsenal have also been identified as prospective buyers.

Chelsea star to join Leicester

19-year-old Chelsea academy midfielder Michael Golding is getting close to joining Leicester City this summer. According to The Athletic, the agreement will not include buy-back or sell-on clauses, and the Foxes will pay a price. It follows Leicester's agreement to pay the Blues £30 million for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. Golding is one of Chelsea's most highly-regarded young players, and the two agreements are reportedly distinct.

Newcastle sell Anderson and Minteh for £65m

Newcastle have completed the sales of Elliot Anderson to Nottingham Forest for £35m, plus Yankuba Minteh to Brighton for a further £30m. Academy product Anderson joins Nuno Espirito Santo's Forest having made 55 first-team appearances for Newcastle, including 44 Premier League outings. Meanwhile, Minteh moves to Brighton having impressed on loan at Arne Slot's Feyenoord last season, where he scored ten times in 27 Eredivisie games.

Zaha set for EPL return

Wilfried Zaha could return to the Premier League imminently with Galatasaray said to be ready to part ways with the ex-Crystal Palace winger. According to the Mirror, Crystal Palace, West Ham and Wolves wre said to be interested in bringing Zaha back to England. However, A return to the English top flight would need Zaha to take a pay cut. The Turkish giants could pay off the remainder of his contract so he can leave on a free transfer.

Barcelona confirm three departures

Barcelona have confirmed the departures of Joao Cancelo, Joao Felix and Marcos Alonso. Cancelo joined on loan from Manchester City and has a deal that runs until 2027 with the reigning EPL champions. Joao Felix was on loan from Atletico Madrid, with whom he extended his contract until 2029 upon his loan move to the Catalan giants while Alonso leaves Barcelona after joining from Chelsea in the summer of 2022.

Done Deals;

Ipswich have signed Omari Hutchinson from Chelsea in a club-record deal. The club agreed a deal for an initial fee of £18m plus performance related add-ons for the winger, who signed a five-year contract. The Jamaican international becomes Ipswich's first summer signing as the club prepares for its first Premier League season in 22 years. Hutchinson departs Chelsea having made just two first-team appearances for the Blues after re-joining the club from Arsenal in July 2022.

Birmingham have signed goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell from Burnley for an undisclosed fee. The 27-year-old has signed a four-year deal at the League One side.
