In spite of his conflict with former Governor Nyesom Wike in Rivers State, Fubara Caleb, a political affairs analyst and former assistant to former Governor Peter Odili, has discussed the accomplishments of Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

Fubara's greatest accomplishment, according to Caleb in an interview with TVC, was his reluctance to fall into Wike's trap. Rivers State remains peaceful and stable under Fubara's direction, he claimed, despite the diversions. The 200 billion naira Port Harcourt ring road project was approved by Fubara, he claimed, in just a few weeks after taking office. This was a determined step. According to him, the six local government districts will benefit from this effort, which attempts to reduce traffic congestion and promote development. Additionally, he stated that Fubara is leading the Sunghai farm's rebirth at the moment, exhibiting his commitment to a state agricultural sector.

In Caleb's words: "Fubara's biggest achievement is he refused to fall into Wike's trap, Wike simply wants to call him out".
