On 29th April, 2024 the former Governor of Kano State and also the current National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje while addressing a coalition of support groups who were at the APC National Secretariat on a solidarity visit in Abuja emphasized that the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP) was a political party that was breaking down, and it was a party that was a mixture of failed politicians.
According to Daily Trust, the National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje said "Now, you should know that they are sponsored by the Kano State Government. And they are a small party. They are a micro party. They are a party that is terribly defeated all over the country. It is a party that is breaking down. It is a party that is a mixture of failed politicians. If you follow what is happening in that party, you will find out that it is a party that is sharply divided between those who are authentic members of the party and those who are fake members of the party individualistic and so arrogant in the management of the political party.”
Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje boasted that there was no vacancy at the Presidential Villa, and it was only their President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu would continue as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
