Arsenal secured a three-point lead at the top of the Premier League after a sensational 5-0 victory over Chelsea.

There wasn't much to split the two teams in the opening 45 minutes, despite the Gunners grabbing an early goal through Trossard, who fired into the bottom corner from close range.

Disasi, Fernandez, and Cucurella all had opportunities to equalise before the break, but Arsenal went into half-time a goal ahead.

In the second half, Arteta's side started brightly, with White and Havertz both finding the back of the net before the 60th minute, giving the Blues a mountain to climb.

The home side found a fourth as Havertz pounced inside the penalty area, drilling a low shot into the bottom corner after some good work from Saka off the wing.

The Gunners sealed the victory as White's somewhat fortuitous volley across goal found its way into the back of the net after a lofted assist from Odegaard.

Despite a fairly even first half, Arsenal were deserved winners in the end, creating 3.37 expected goals compared to Chelsea's 1.61. Up next for Arteta and his team is the North London Derby against Tottenham, while Chelsea head to the Midlands to face Aston Villa.

After the completion of the match, Arsenal's Defender, Ben White was named the man of the match after his fantastic performance against Chelsea, according to the Premier League.

The England international netted two goals to push the North Londoners lead at the summit to three points ahead of their rivals matches.
