According to the report from the Sun, a senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District of Kogi State, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan reflected on their experience in their role, stating that it has been an engaging journey that aligns with their expectations.

She mentioned being actively involved in legislating, advocating, and representing her constituents while successfully maintaining a balance with her personal life, including daily tasks like cooking.

She expressed satisfaction with her ability to navigate various responsibilities and learn the required skills, noting the positive response from the people they serve.

She proudly shared that she had introduced her first bill in the Senate, marking a significant milestone in her legislative career.

She said, "It’s been quite interesting because everything is as expected. I’m busy legislating, reciting and representing my people and I’ve also been able to strike a balance with my home. I still cook, I still do everything, so striking a balance, that’s what matters more to me. I’m glad that makes people happy so far, and I’ve been able to learn the ropes quickly and in the Senate. It’s my very first bill."
