Troops of the Nigerian Army's Operation Whirl Punch have neutralized several bandits in Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The operation was launched after intelligence reports revealed that bandits were converging at a location in Yadi Forest for a meeting to plan a deadly mission.
Close monitoring confirmed the bandits' movements, and they were sighted approaching the location on motorcycles, bearing arms. Further exploration confirmed the convergence of about 7-10 bandits at a hub in the location.
Upon verification, the location was struck, and scores of bandits, including one Alhaji Kachalla Ragas, an ally and childhood friend of the previously neutralized Buharin Yadi, were confirmed to have been neutralized by the strike.
The Governor appreciated the troops for their bravery and encouraged residents to continue to volunteer information about bandits, thanking the various sources who provided crucial intelligence leading to the successful strike.
