The Delta State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe has left Nigerians and social media users buzzing after revealing the age limit before a child can be taken from the mother.
According to Bright Edafe's tweet, a child below the age of 6 cannot be taken from the mother, except she is mentally unstable.
Revealing the age limit, the Delta State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe tweeted: "Child custody!!! Mothers should know their rights , a child below the age of six (6) can not be taken away from the mother. Custody of the child must always be with the mother in cases where the father and the mother are no longer together..."
