Samuel Nwanosike, the embattled chairman of Ikwerre LGA has reacted to comments made by Ikenga Ugochinyere, the spokesperson for the 'G60 lawmakers' in the House of Representatives. Ikenga said the recent Court of Appeal ruling did not overturn the sack of 27 lawmakers led by Martin Amaewhule in Rivers State.

However, in a video shared by TVC, Samuel accused Ikenga of trying to get money from Governor Fubara. He pointed out that Governor Fubara has accepted the Court of Appeal’s decision and plans to seek further interpretation from the Supreme Court, which is the right approach. He criticized Ikenga for inciting trouble instead of following proper legal procedures. He also doubted Ikenga’s claim of having the support of 60 National Assembly members, suggesting he has only a few followers.

In Samuel's words: "Ikenga is looking for money from Governor Fubara who has agreed with the judgment of the Court of Appeal. If you listen to what Governor Fubara said, he said he has accepted and that is why he and his followers are going to the Supreme Court for further interpretation. That is the right thing to do, not to come and incite crisis. We are saying enough of Ikenga Ugochinyere and all his antics. A man that has only four followers will come and tell Nigerians that he has 60 followers"
