The Deputy National Organising Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Nze Chidi During, has noted that when President Tinubu took over as the country's president, he asked Nigerians not to pity him, thereby urging the to criticise him if he (Tinubu) fails to deliver.
Speaking further, the APC Chieftain made it known that President Tinubu craved and worked tirelessly to become the country's president, thereby noting that they are confident that President Tinubu will deliver, because he is aware of the expectations of most Nigerians.
According to Punch, Mr Duru made this disclosure during an interview, he thereby expressed conviction that President Bola Tinubu will be re-elected in 2027 despite the economic hardship most Nigerians are currently passing through.
He said: "When Mr President took over, he asked Nigerians not to pity him. It is an office that he craved and worked hard for before offering himself to provide leadership to Nigeria."
Furthermore, Mr Duru noted that President Bola introduced most of the economic reforms, in order to steady the sinking ship of the country's economy, thereby assuring Nigerians that things will get better very soon.
In addition, he made it known that every political office holder knows that the first date in office is key, noting that citizens who elected them into office and those who did not elect them will always track their performance.
