On 1st July, 2024 the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima paid a condolence visit to the former Nigerian Senator representing Borno State North Senatorial District and also the former Governor of Borno State, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff to commiserate with him over the death of his mother, Late Hajiya Aisa Modu Sheriff at his residence in Maiduguri, Borno State, Nigeria.
According to a post made by the Vice President of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima Via his official Facebook account, he along with the Chairman of the Northern Governors Forum and also the current Governor of Gombe State, Alhaji Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya and other senior staff of the Borno State Government paid a condolence visit to to the former Governor of Borno State, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff to commiserate with him over the death of mother at his residence in Maiduguri, Borno State.
During his speech, the Vice President of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima prayed that may Almighty Allah forgive the shortcomings of the Late Hajiya Aisa Modu Sheriff and grant her Aljanna Firdaus.
