An LP chieftain and lawyer named Kenneth Okonkwo has said that politicians of all ages have let Nigerians down. A post he made on Thursday using his official X handle contained this comment.
His remarks follow the former governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello, being declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). After watching the match between the EFCC and Yahaha Bello, Kenneth Okonkwo stated in his Facebook post that gender and age will no longer be criteria in selecting the nation's next leader. According to him, competency, moral fiber, and ability will all be taken into account.
Writing on his official page, Kenneth Okonkwo stated; The political establishment, in all its generations, has let us down, and I do not care who you ask. Gender and age will be irrelevant; what matters are ability, integrity, and character.
