Alongside Eric Kiragu, Pepita Ranka Kinyaga was one of the most popular lead bodyguards assigned to former President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Always in dark sheds, Ranka remains a member of Uhuru's close protection unit, the team which often walks side by side with the former Head of State.
On the day the former President handed over power to President William Ruto, Rank was quickly embedded into Ruto's security detail. Perhaps this was just symbolic as he would later revert to protect Uhuru.
