Manchester United are reportedly closing in on signing Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano provided an update on the situation on his X account.
The Red Devils have been on the lookout for a new No. 9 after Rasmus Hojlund failed to fire last season. The Denmark international scored 16 goals and set up two more in 43 appearances across competitions.
As a result, United have set their sights on Netherlands international Zirkzee, who is currently at Euro 2024. Last season, he made 37 appearances across competitions for Bologna, bagging 12 goals and seven assists.
