The Kenyan police have extended an olive branch to the members of parliament advising them on a list of dos and don'ts if they are to avoid confrontations with the public. These members of parliament majorly from the Kenya Kwanza side of the government voted yes in support of the Finance bill, at a time that the whole country called upon them and even sent them messages urging them not to.

Kenyans sent them text messages and even made them calls begging them to shut down the bill. But they maintained their stand , as directed by the President. Most of their houses have been torched in recent times just to show the ugly side of not having individual stands.

The police urge the member of parliament to lay low at the moment and not to appear in public. They argue that silence in itself is a lot of power. The police have also urged them to avoid provoking the public with their sentiments and also to avoid open show of opulence and showbiz. Some of them have been showing off flashy watches, shoes, as Kenyans continue to suffer.
