Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dele Momodu has taken to social media to talk about former Director General of Labour Party presidential campaign, Doyin Okupe. He accused him of working with Labour Party's presidential candidate, Peter Obi because he proposed to give him such position if he joins his party during the presidential election.

Recall that Doyin Okupe had during an interview with Arise TV few hours ago, revealed that he left the PDP for Labour Party because the opposition party allegedly refused to allow a southerner become the presidential candidate of the party, adding that the members of the party overrode the emotions of the Southerners when they announced Atiku Abubakar as the winner of the party's presidential election.

Such statement from Doyin Okupe did not however, sit well with Nigerian businessman, Dele Momodu who took to his official Instagram account to state that he watched his interview several times and he is surprised at his attempt to rewrite history so soon, adding that Doyin Okupe left PDP before the presidential primary that produced Atiku Abubakar.

Dele Momodu further accused Doyin Okupe that;

"You joined Peter Obi because he offered you the assignment of Director General of his campaign, not because Atiku got the PDP ticket."

Dele Momodu further revealed that Governors alone could not have approved southern candidacy for Nigeria, adding that every party had the right to strategize on its best candidate to field and Nigeria has never been a one party state.
