Reports on Wednesday (The Boot Room , 1 May) suggest that Pickford is someone they may look to sign to take advantage of the Toffees’ financial troubles, but Ramsdale is seen as a “more likely” arrival unless Everton are forced into sales.

Man Utd moving strongly to sign Rabiot

According to La Stampa (via Calciomercato), Manchester United are moving strongly to sign Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot this summer. The Frenchman has been a key player for the Turin giants, but his future at the club is uncertain with his contract expiring at the end of the campaign. Juventus have not opened negotiations with him over a renewal and La Stampa claim that talks are on stand-by until they sort out the future of manager Massimiliano Allegri and their European status for next season. The same source claim that Man United are pressing and strongly moving for the signature of the 29-year-old, who could be available on a free transfer this summer.

Sporting CP will be open to parting ways with Ousmane Diomande for around €50-60 million instead of €80 million, the value of his release clause. According to a report by Portuguese outlet A Bola, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Newcastle United are keen on signing Ousmane Diomande. The Magpies are best positioned to sign the Ivory Coast international in the summer transfer window. Meanwhile, Sporting CP will be open to selling the youngster for €50-60 million instead of demanding his release clause of €80 million.
