Thursday, the 4th of July, was indeed a special day for former NTV presenter Jane Ngoiri.
This is because on the day, exactly 10 years ago, she unfortunately lost her beloved father.

The sassy queen therefore marked the anniversary in an emotional way, whereby she reminded her late dad of how much she misses him when he is not here.
This was clear in a post that Jane Ngoiri made on her Instagram account, where she wrote:
"Exactly, 10 years ago the Lord called you to his throne. Can't believe it is a decade. Indeed death leaves a heartache that only God can heal but love leaves a memory no one can steal. Wawa your memory leaves forever with us".
Jane Ngoiri further accompanied the message with a photo of her late dad, that was taken when he was still alive many years ago.
At the time, her dad had posed while sitting on a chair, and he was all smiles.
From the post however, it is clear that Jane Ngoiri unfortunately lost her beloved father on the 4th of July 2014.
The former NTV Swahili news anchor has however never revealed the details surrounding her father's death, like what caused his death and where he was buried.
