In a recent social media post, renowned Nollywood actor and movie director, Ugezu Jideofor Ugezu, popularly known as Ugezu J Ugezu, has expressed his disappointment towards individuals he deems as unintelligent for falling victim to online criminals posing as celebrities and sending them money.

According to Ugezu, he said "very Unintelligent people are still sending money to criminals online who pretend to be celebs"

Ugezu did not mince words as he addressed the issue at hand. He emphasized that it is disheartening to see people still falling for the scams orchestrated by these criminals.

According to him, any social media account claiming to belong to a celebrity and requesting money should immediately raise suspicion, as it is undoubtedly a red flag indicating the account's fraudulent nature.

The actor urged people to exercise caution and use their reasoning abilities. He advised his followers and the general public to be vigilant and not fall prey to these deceptive tactics.

Ugezu reminded everyone that if something appears too good to be true, it most likely is.

In a follow-up message, Ugezu questioned how many more warnings celebrities need to issue before individuals start thinking critically about their actions.

He expressed frustration at the fact that some people seem to have completely disregarded common sense and willingly handed over their hard-earned money to scammers.

Ugezu J Ugezu posed a question, asking whether innocent people should be held accountable for the consequences of their own foolish decisions.

He criticized those who have seemingly "deleted their own brains," implying that they have willingly ignored the numerous cautionary tales and advice provided by celebrities and others who have spoken out against such scams.
